Remote Patient Monitoring
Discover how we use advanced telemedicine platforms and wearablewearable sensors to ensure seamless monitoring for patients.
The technical developments that we have brought together for the first time in this telemedical solution in the form of a medical wearable are revolutionising patient therapy and enabling hospitals to monitor post-operative patients seamlessly in real time. Mobile vital signs monitoring allows patients to be transferred to outpatient care more quickly, thereby increasing intensive care capacity. Their state of health is permanently monitored at all times using biosensors so that risks are recognised at an early stage.
This is made possible by
- powerful, reliable and accurate wearable vital signs sensors,
- the use of digital telemedicine such as cloud and edge computing,
- as well as rapid deployment, set-up and ongoing support from our experts.

Reduce resources with digital patient monitoring "Remote Patient Monitoring"
Reduce manual effort
With our scalable RPM solution, numerous patients can be monitored automatically, continuously and in real time. The measurement of vital signs is reliable and is not falsified by the wake-up effect or similar.
Focussing care time
Using the real-time measurements from the biosensors, care can be focussed on the patients most in need of treatment.
Recognising hazards at an early stage
Early detection of deterioration in vital signs and therefore rapid intervention are possible. The probability of serious complications is reduced.
Data protection and data security
HMS Analytical Software's Remote Patient Monitoring solution fulfils strict data security, governance and data protection guidelines. All data is protected in accordance with data protection laws and regulations.
Continuously optimise treatments
Use of the data from the vital parameter measurements for further analysis and interpretation, e.g. to optimise prevention and treatment even further.
HMS Wearable: Bluetooth sensor with cloud monitoring
The patient sticks the sensor on and can then move freely around the hospital. Their state of health is monitored continuously and in real time, regardless of their location. No other device is required, as the HMS wearables monitor vital signs without any other aids. The patient can also be localised anywhere so that emergency situations can be responded to quickly. The wearables work in all everyday situations and only need to be removed for recharging. This simple handling and the compact design of the biosensors ensure a high level of patient acceptance.
Remote monitoring system with medical wearables
The HMS Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solution supports doctors, relieves the burden on medical staff and at the same time provides patients with greater safety.
The monitoring of certain patient groups is currently presenting hospitals with major challenges. Not all patients require comprehensive therapeutic and intensive care measures. In addition, the number of intensive care beds is limited. Nevertheless, continuous (post-operative) patient monitoring with measurement of vital signs must be ensured in order to be able to intervene quickly if necessary. This is because prompt action is crucial to the success of treatment.
However, the capacities of the nursing staff on the normal ward are often not sufficient to prevent patients from remaining unobserved for too long. Even in an outpatient setting, continuous condition monitoring cannot usually be guaranteed.
These monitoring gaps are closed and intensive care capacities are increased at the same time: The HMS wearables monitor the vital functions of post-operative patients in real time and regardless of location using medical biosensors.
