The Opportunity: Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center (EMRMC), a leading health care provider in Kentucky and one of the 100 Greatest Community Hospitals in America is looking to expand our cardiology program

We are seeking a physician to join our current cardiology program in providing services for patient care in a six county service area. Recruitment of a physician is due to a strong community need and to support the hospital s medical staff.Ephraim McDowell Health Resources administration is very supportive of this recruitment effort and the growth in the cardiology program.

The physician can expect to work a four/five-day week in an in-patient/out-patient setting and to build a busy practice quickly. Our goal is to provide complete cardiological treatment close to home. We are also able to perform ECMO (case by case need.)

The Candidate: Experienced, Board Certified/Board Eligible

Compensation and Benefits: This is a Three Year Employed Agreement with Ephraim McDowell Health Resources:

• Year One and Year Two: Guaranteed Salary based on local market conditions.
• Year Three: Base plus wRVU productivity based on local market conditions.

• Paid Time Off - 8 hours accrued per pay period (begins immediately)
• Sick Time Off 6 hours accrued per pay period (begins 90 days after hire)
